Draft for the proof of concept. This text has not been reviewed by a lawyer and will change before public launch.

Privacy notice

Last updated 14 September 2026

This notice explains what KWS Rack Designer keeps about you, why, and what you can ask for.

What we keep

  • Your account: email address, name, and whether you confirmed the email.
  • How you sign in: a one-way hash of your password (never the password itself), or your Google account ID if you use Google.
  • Your designs, their saved versions, folders and preview images.
  • A sign-in history: time, method, result, IP address and browser/device description.
  • A record of changes made to your account and designs, including changes made by an administrator.

Why

To run your account and save your work, to keep the service secure (for example, to spot repeated failed sign-ins), and to help you if something goes wrong.

Who can see it

You. KWS administrators can see account records, designs and the sign-in history to support you and to investigate misuse; every administrator view and change is recorded. Administrators cannot see your password. We do not sell your data.

Deleting

When you delete a design, a folder or your account, it moves out of your view but is kept so it can be restored, until an administrator removes it permanently. During this proof of concept there is no automatic time limit; one will be set before public launch.

Where it is stored

On a server we rent from a hosting provider. Emails are sent through an email provider. If you use Google sign-in, Google handles that step.

Your requests

Ask us to show you, correct, export or permanently delete your data. Contact the KWS team through the address on the KWS website.
